There is nothing here but a 5 km strip of beach and dunes with only one small beach restaurant and one set of tiki umbrellas and loungers.
We had no beach towels or chairs with this apartment so we rented one of the spots for the day so we could get some shade to read our books. We were early and its not a busy season so we had our choice of location.
It is a really wide beach at low tide (the tidal range here is 3.5 m) and was great for walking.
The temperature was in the high 20's again but we did see our first cloud in over a week.
High tide happened at around 16:00h and provided sort of a weird perspective from our vantage point. There is a huge mound of sand that the waves lap over occasionally at high tide.
The water taxi ride back was a bit more exciting because I thing the driver was drunk. Hit the dock a little hard!
This is our apartment view from the water.
I took a walk along the boardwalk as the sun was setting to catch some good lighting.
At around 20:00h we went to a Tapas and Wine restaurant for a light supper. Really delicious.
