Another tequila sunrise....
After breakfast we decided to wander the streets downtown before it got too hot. There seems to be a little shrine every block or so in case you have to pray.
The other thing I haven't mentioned yet is that "poop and scoop" hasn't seemed to have caught on here. You have to keep your head down when walking the sidewalks!
We passed by the fortress Ponta de Banderia, built in 1690 to defend the river mouth.
Chris browsed the street vendors while I watched the boat traffic.
A lot of the shops were closed as it appeared to be some sort of national holiday so it limited the shopping but we did explore some streets we hadn't seen before.
The vegetable market was open but the fish market was closed.
We went to the beach for the rest of the afternoon and then went for Fish & Chips at a small restaurant (Rated #3 on Trip Advisor).
Had a lot of fun there and met some other travellers from London Ontario and Dublin Ireland.
