Lagos Day 7 - Another Beach Day

After driving around visiting a number of places yesterday, it was time to just walk down the street and go to the beach.

It was sunny and about 29C. There must have been some wind blowing somewhere as there was quite a swell in the ocean which made for some spectacular breaking waves on the beach and the steep bluffs.

Some people got a little too close to the action. We saw three phones get submerged! Not all are waterproof!

As usual, the scenery was pretty good.

We walked back up the hill to our apartment around four and relaxed in the shade on our balcony. Just before sunset, we did the short walk into the heart of the town along the bluffs of the waterfront and caught some nice views of the backlight from the sun going down.

We wandered the streets before picking a restaurant for supper.

We liked the looks of this place and decided to eat here.

The tourist traffic has slowed down so we had no trouble getting a table. Chris had a nice chicken tagliatelle and I had sea bass. We ordered a bottle of wine and the restaurant price was 11.90 euro. It was the house wine and very good. I checked the US average price and it was $26.50 in the store! What's not to like?

We wandered the streets a bit before returning home.
